Monday, 54 year old John A. Carpenter Jr. was preparing to tow a disabled vehicle from the westbound lanes of state Route 104, near Lockbourne Road, when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 31 year old Brian N. Spencer. 104. He failed to move over one lane while the tow truck had its flashing lights on. He lost control of his vehicle and struck four vehicles that were off to the right side of the road and Carpenter as he was loading one of the vehicles.
