The Glazers have been described as quiet philanthropists, who contributed to many causes in Rochester. They both served on the board of WXXI, a public broadcasting group in Rochester, and were co chairs of its Go Public rebranding campaign.
She was a past board president for the area Jewish Community Center, while he served on many other boards, for such organizations as the Rochester Downtown Development Corp., Monroe Community College, and the Jewish Home of Rochester.
In a statement, the couple three grown children, Mindy, Rick and Ken, asked to mourn the loss of their parents privately, saying they were devastated.
